On December 7, Friends of Kids with Cancer hosted its annual Winter Wonderland Party at Chesterfield Sports Fusion for patients and their families. This party serves as a great escape from the hospitals, receiving treatment and puts the stress on-hold even for just a couple of hours of fun, food and family. This party serves as a great outlet for parents/adults as many families are going through similar stresses, allowing families to truly feel the strong community and support.
Patients and families got to have a wonderful afternoon having fun with the rock climbing, laser tag, dodge ball, arcade games and other attractions at Chesterfield Sports Fusion. We also had face-painting, cake walk, toy giveaways, caricaturist and even a visit from Santa and Mrs. Claus for pictures!
